Q: Which organization(s) own and manage the Global Schools Network?

A: The GSN is owned and operated by the Partnership for 21st Century Learning, an NGO based in Washington DC.


Q: Which schools can apply for GSN status?

A: Any school, public, private, religious, in the world. The focus is on grades 1-12 and not on colleges/universities.


Q: When is the application period?

A: May 15, 2018-Aug. 31, 2018.


Q: How much does it cost?

A: US$500.


Q: How long does GSN status last?

A: Two years. At any time, schools who receive Developing or Sustaining status can reapply the following year for higher GSN status.


Q: Which languages does the GSN support?

A: All materials and communication will occur in English.


Q: Who will evaluate GSN applications?

A: GSN committee members, P21 staff, and a peer group of GSN schools.
